As you probably have guessed, my name is Micah. Ever since I was little, I have been intrigued with all things medicine. From grade school till now, I have tried to be proactive in making the necessary strides in order to ensure that my career aspirations soon turn into my reality.

Even though my new job as a Dermatological Medical Assistant coupled with studying for my MCAT take up a majority of my time, they represent just one facet of my fun-filled life. It's always good to be well-rounded right? My family and friends are extremely important to me. It's always important to have those special people in your corner that give you pep talks when needed even if it's a random Chik-Fil-A sandwiches to cheer you up. May of this year was filled with many changes for me. Not only am I finally a Robert Morris University Alum (GO COLONIALS!), but I am no longer a D1 athlete. All my life sports has been a big part of who I am. So now, instead of lacing up my turfs at 6 am and walking on to the field, I wake up every morning and proudly put my scrubs on. A big change, but to say I'm excited is an understatement. The best is yet to come!
